Design of Online Educational Resources I 2015
Design of Online Educational Resources I is a beginner's-level course in designing online education resources. Topics include the development of educational Web pages and sites; Hypertext Markup Language (HTML); web site usability and accessibility, and evaluation of web resources, particularly in the area of presenting educational material online. Emphasis in the first part of the course will be on learning the basics of web coding in HTML and then the use of Adobe Dreamweaver, a popular web development software program used by many educators as well as professional web designers. During the course, students will also explore some of the many free Web 2.0 options that are currently available to help users present a wide variety of content on a website.
